Black Friday shopping should inject around R$50 million into Campo Grande’s economy. The survey by the CNC (National Confederation of Commerce in Goods, Services and Tourism) was released by Campo Grande City Hall on Tuesday afternoon (21).

The expectation is that sales will be made both in central stores and in stores in shopping malls and neighborhoods in the Capital. “For the consumer, it is a good time to buy cheaper and for the entrepreneur, to make money. So whoever wants to take advantage and sell more, it’s time to take care in product signage and discounts. A good price has always been one of the biggest attractions in retail”, points out the municipal secretary of Innovation, Economic Development and Agribusiness, Adelaido VIla.

The CNC study also reveals that nationally, half of the expected financial transactions must be carried out in the electronics and household appliances sectors, as well as furniture and appliances. The hypermarket and supermarket sectors, clothing, footwear and accessories should also stand out.

Across the country, R$4.64 billion is expected to be generated, registering the largest financial movement since the date began to be part of the retail calendar in 2010. The growth is 4.3% compared to the same period of the year 2022.
