The new version of the BMW X2 was announced in October and will be launched on the Brazilian market. During an event in the United States, company representatives stated that the renewed SUV will arrive in Brazil in the second half of next year.

However, the BMW X2 will not be produced in Brazil for now. According to the company, the new version of the SUV will be imported from the factory in Regensburg (ALE) at this initial moment.
BMW will follow the same strategy as the previous generation, which was imported from the same place and sold in Brazil between 2018 and the beginning of 2022.

BMW does not have an official date for the launch of the iX2, the electric version of the BMW X2, in the Brazilian market. Sales of the SUV will only begin in March 2024 in other markets, except Brazil.
However, BMW stated that it is attentive to market demand and, therefore, has not yet ruled out the possibility of bringing the iX2 to Brazil.

BMW tried hard not to create an X1 with a modified rear end. Even though there are similarities, the BMW X2 has different headlights, standing out for its large front grille, especially in the M35i xDrive version, the sportiest.
The side door handles are recessed, just like on the X1, and the rear wheel arch has a more muscular and wider profile, highlighting the vehicle’s sporty appearance.

The new BMW X2 has larger dimensions compared to its predecessor, measuring 4,554 mm in length, 2,692 mm in wheelbase, 1,845 mm in width and 1,590 mm in height.
The model presents an increase of 194 mm in length and 22 mm in the wheelbase, in addition to small changes in width and height. Wheels vary from 17 to 21 inches, depending on the version. The intention of the model’s growth is to distance itself from the X1 and anticipate the possible end of the X4.
