BNP will hold a freedom fighter rally at Nayapaltan in the capital on the occasion of the Great Independence and National Day.
Today Monday (March 25) this rally will start at 10 am in front of BNP central office in Nayapaltan and will end at 12 noon.
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir will be present as the chief guest in this rally organized by Nationalist Freedom Fighters Party. Major (retd) Hafiz Uddin Ahmad Bir Bikram, Vice Chairman of BNP and Convener of Independence Celebration Committee will preside. Besides, central leaders of BNP and affiliated organizations will be present.
Meanwhile, the Mukti Jodha Dal has already completed all the preparations after the rally was successful. Muktijoddha Dal has written a letter to Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Commissioner on March 20, requesting to take necessary measures after completing the rally smoothly with permission to use the microphone.
According to BNP media cell sources, this freedom fighter rally is going to be held in front of the party office in Nayapaltan on Monday after the BNP general meeting on October 28 last year.
Shayrul Kabir Khan, a member of BNP’s media cell, said that the BNP secretary general did not participate in any political program after being released from prison. After 5 long months, he will participate as the chief guest in today’s freedom fighter rally.
