It has been reported that the Hindi film ‘Bola’ directed, acted and produced by Ajay Devgan has collected up to Rs.18 crores in 2 days.
In 2019, the Tamil film ‘Kaithi’ starring Karthi and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj was well received by the fans. This film has been remade in Hindi by Ajay Devgan as ‘Bola’. Actress Amala Paul plays Ajay Devgan’s wife in this film. Tabu has played the role of Naren in the film which has been released in 3D technology. Ravi Basrur of ‘KGF’ fame has composed the music for the film.
In this case, the film made on a budget of Rs.100 crore collected Rs.11.20 crore on the first day (March 30). On the second day yesterday, it collected Rs.7.40 crore. The second day collection of the film, which collected a total of Rs 18.60 crore in two days, is reported to have dropped by 35 percent. Although the film received positive reviews, it did not reflect in the collections. Cinema traders have predicted that the collections may increase slightly as today and tomorrow are holidays.
