In the early hours of today a Carabinieri patrol rushed to carry out checks on a bomb threat at the Trani station. Travelers and commuters were evacuated and all accesses were closed.
The alarm apparently arose from the discovery of a briefcase containing a message announcing a bomb in a school unspecified of the city, in addition to some tickets with threats to trains between Bari and Barletta. Serious problems therefore for commuters and students, but also for those leaving for a trip.
The mayor of Trani has decided to close the schools for safety.
Carabinieri, State Police and Fire Brigade were present on site.
