On the 26th, Princess Aiko, the eldest daughter of Their Majesties the Emperor and Empress, visited Ise Grand Shrine and announced her graduation from university.

Princess Aiko arrived at Kintetsu Toba Station around 1pm on the 26th wearing an off-white suit and pearl accessories. Starting on the 26th, he will spend one night and two days visiting Ise Shrine and other places to report on his university graduation and employment.

This is my second visit to Ise Jingu, the first time in 10 years since I visited with Their Majesties after graduating from elementary school.

As this was her first solo visit to the region, many people crowded around Toba Station in the rain, and Princess Aiko was greeted with smiles and nods as she transferred to her car.

“I came to see her when she was with His Majesty the Emperor. I came to see her at Ise Grand Shrine. It was wonderful to see her become an adult and beautiful.”

People were seen waiting in the rain for Princess Aiko to arrive at Ise Jingu Geku.

After a while, the rain that had been falling since the morning stopped and blue skies opened up, and Princess Aiko arrived soon after.

“I saw them drive by. It took about 3 seconds. It was raining, but just before they came, it started to clear up, so I thought it was amazing.”

Another woman:
“Since he was wearing a mask, I could only see his hat and eyes, but I thought his aura was coming out.I’m glad.”

Princess Aiko changed into a long white dress and walked down the approach to the shrine without an umbrella in the light rain.

After receiving an exorcism in front of the torii gate, he slowly walked towards the main shrine, where a tamagushi was offered to him.

After 4pm, I headed to Naiku.

On the 26th, we stayed overnight at a hotel in Toba City, and then moved to Nara Prefecture in the afternoon of the 27th. They are scheduled to visit the mausoleum of Emperor Jimmu, said to be the first emperor, before returning to Tokyo.
