ONLINE TIME: Mr. Alferink, the best candidate for Chancellor: Olaf Scholz or Boris Pistorius?
Robert Alferink: The prevailing opinion in our district association is that Boris Pistorius is the most promising candidate. But we also agree that of course we have too Olaf Scholz would join the election campaign. We make no difference.
ONLINE TIME: Pistorius’s war i Osnabruck Mayor for a long time and is still very popular here. Can you even consider this neutral?
Alferink: Of course we are a little biased here. On the one hand, because we know Boris well, but on the other hand, the national surveys show who citizens see as the better SPD candidate in direct comparison to Friedrich Merz.

Alferink: I think Boris certainly has the confidence to do that. And there are many who believe he can do that too. Me too.
