The mayoral candidate of São Paulo, Guilherme Boulos, speaks on Sunday evening (27) after the results of the second round of the municipal elections at the Casa de Portugal among his voters
Guilherme Boulos PSOL mayoral candidate Saint Paul and defeated by Ricardo Nunes (MDB) this Sunday (27) in the elections, gave a speech after the counting of the results. “I will not talk about the lies, the attacks that characterized these elections and the electoral crime committed by the governor of São Paulo, justice will deal with this. I won’t make a loser’s speech here, because we lost an election, but in this campaign we recovered the dignity of the Brazilian left,” Boulos said in front of supporters and allies. “We have demonstrated that it is possible to engage in politics face to face, debating with people openly, in the squares, in the streets with great dignity. Let us show the path that awaits us for the future, that is to dialogue body and soul with the anxieties of our people”, he added, thanking the over two million voters who voted for him. Boulos said those people voted for the change. “Our fight didn’t start today and it doesn’t end here, I have great faith that despite a negative result, the future will be ours,” he said.
