Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić held his first telephone conversation with his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, in more than two years. Rain disaster in Emilia-Romagna
One person lost his life in Italy due to heavy rains that flooded the Emilia-Romagna region (in the north of the country), especially in Bologna, where 175 millimeters of rain fell in a single day. Authorities recovered the body of a 20-year-old man whose vehicle was swept away by the water. President leads the elections
The outgoing president of Moldova, Maia Sandu, is in the lead in the first round of the elections, obtaining 36% of the votes, according to the electoral commission. He will face former prosecutor Alexandr Stoianoglo, who achieved 29% and has the support of pro-Russian socialists.
