Today, Sunday, the Federal Integrity Commission reported that a summons order had been issued against a former general director at the Ministry of Transport. Because he intentionally caused damage to the funds and interests of the entity for which he works.

The authority stated in a statement received by the (INA), that “the judge of the Rusafa Investigation Court, which specializes in cases of integrity, money laundering, and economic crime, decided to bring in the former general director of the General Company for Private Transport Management, affiliated with the Ministry of Transport, for deliberately wasting public money,” indicating that “ The accused transformed the company from a profitable company with (19,000,000,000) billion dinars in its balance to a company incurring losses, until its debt reached (23,000,000,000) billion dinars.”

She added, “The accused divided the company’s projects and spent sums for completed and finally delivered projects, which affected its financial resources and led to its transformation into a loss-making company with large debts,” noting that “the aforementioned court issued the recruitment order, based on the provisions of Article (340) of Penal Code.
