BTS J-Hope (30, real name Jung Hoseok) shared his thoughts on discharge.
On the morning of the 17th, J-Hope was discharged from the Army’s 36th Infantry Division Baekho Recruit Training Center located in Wonju, Gangwon-do with a discharge ceremony. J-Hope enlisted in April of last year and has been serving as an assistant instructor in the unit.
On this day, J-Hope proudly saluted the reporters and small number of fans who had gathered to cover his discharge and shouted “loyalty.”
J-Hope then said, “Thank you so much,” and said, “I was discharged in good health. Thank you very much.”
J-Hope also gave a heart-warming message by saying, “First of all, I would like to say thank you to the reporters who came a long way,” and “Thanks to the fans, I was able to finish safely and in good health.”
Meanwhile, all five members of BTS are fulfilling their military service obligations, except Jin, who was discharged last June, and J-Hope, who is being discharged today. RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook are currently serving in active duty, while Suga is working as a social worker. The remaining members will be discharged and demobilized in June next year.
