The woman was rescued with the help of JCB, but her life could not be saved. There was chaos in the family after hearing the news of the woman’s death. According to the information, the work of building a water tank was going on in Kila Mewai village of Khurja. The water supply department was rapidly getting the work done to dig the tank. A woman was digging out soil at some distance from the construction site. During this, the clay mold fell on the woman. When the local people came to know, immediately the village people and water department people reached the spot. The woman was rescued with the help of JCB. The woman has been admitted to the hospital in critical condition. Where the woman has been declared dead. The people of the village brought the woman to the village and cremated her without conducting post-mortem.
Water department accused of negligence
The villagers allege that this accident happened due to the negligence of the water department. Family members allege. That the work being done in the village is not using good material, due to which the accident has occurred. Local people also expressed their displeasure regarding this.
Khurja police station in-charge said that information about the case was not available till now. The matter is being investigated. If the victim’s family gives any complaint then investigation will be done on its basis.
