Presidential initiative

Yesterday, on instructions from the president, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, the secretary of Governor, Rosa Icela Rodríguez, delivered to the Senate of the Republic, two reform initiatives to the General Law of Institutions y Electoral Proceduresand the General Law of the System of Means of Impeachment, which establish the process of election of judges, magistrates and ministers.

“The constitutional reform to Judiciary, recently approved, represents a new reality in which the three Powers of the Union They are elected by popular vote.
