Actor Cameron Diaz (51) and musician Benji Madden (45) have had their second child together.
The couple shares it on Instagram.
Reveals unknown past
“We are blessed and happy to announce the birth of our son, Cardinal Madden. He’s amazing and we’re all so happy he’s here!” they write, adding that they won’t post pictures of him for privacy reasons.
The Hollywood couple already have a daughter, Raddix (4).
The grant to the family comes as a surprise as it was not known that the couple were expecting a child.
In 2022, a close friend of the couple could reveal that Diaz and Madden dreamed of expanding their family, and should have looked at surrogacy options.

– Cameron and Benji have discussed having another child. They have even looked at what options they have in terms of a surrogate mother, the friend said, adding:
– Looking at surrogacy possibilities
– Benji has always wanted a big family, and Cameron didn’t need to be persuaded after the arrival of his daughter.
It is not known whether the couple went via surrogacy to have their son Cardinal.
