Can I buy physical gold?
A common doubt that many people have is whether they can buy gold instead of gold bonds? A gold bond is a brilliant scheme that was initially introduced to reduce the demand for physical gold. It was developed for investment purposes. So getting it as gold is impossible.
Such gold bond will be issued by Reserve Bank of India from time to time as per the market conditions. The first gold bond sale of the current year will begin on June 19 and end on June 23, 2023. Unit will be allotted on 27th June.
The second sale of the current financial year will start on September 11 and end on September 15, 2023.
Interest in gold is very high in India. Especially in the context of growing interest in digital gold, these gold bonds are seen as a great opportunity.
