Among the projects launched by the Provincial Human Development Committee (CPDH) of the M’diq-Fnideq prefecture, as part of the third phase of the INDH, and in the wake of its efforts aimed at generalizing preschool in the prefecture, includes the creation of 113 preschool units, which benefit more than 3,800 children this year, within the framework of partnerships with the Provincial Directorate of National Education, Preschool and Sports, elected councils and the Moroccan Foundation for the promotion of preschool education (FMPS).

One of the outstanding examples of the efforts made in this regard is the preschool unit of Douar Belwazen, in the commune of Allyene, which reflects the essence and philosophy of the generalization of preschool in the prefecture, a project placed at the heart of the INDH.

In addition to the construction of preschool units, the INDH was keen to provide these educational structures with the most efficient equipment, in order to allow children to benefit from the necessary learning and to be better prepared to succeed in primary school, given the role of preschool education, particularly in these rural areas, in the cognitive and social development of children, and the smooth running of their school career.

The educators are recruited by the FMPS, in partnership with the National Agency for the Promotion of Employment and Skills (ANAPEC), and the Ministry of National Education, with the aim of offering quality training to these children and enable them to acquire the prerequisite knowledge necessary to access primary school and continue their education.

In a statement to MAP, the head of the service of the Impulse of Human Capital for Rising Generations program, under the Social Action Division (ADS) of the M’diq-Fnideq prefecture, Walid Redouane, stressed that the The preschool unit of douar Belwazen was created as part of the INDH action program for the generalization of preschool in rural areas, noting that it required a budget of more than 300,000 dirhams.

The official specified that this structure is an example among some 113 preschool units, which were set up in the prefecture of M’diq-Fnideq, thanks to the efforts of different partners, stressing that this integrated program allowed the creation of 190 jobs and the expansion of the base of children benefiting from preschool in the territory of the prefecture.

He indicated that the number of beneficiaries of this program increased from 1,100 children during the 2019-2020 school season to 3,800 children for the current school year, noting that the preschool units offer free and quality services. .

For her part, the provincial head of the FMPS, Yasmine El Kandoussi, affirmed that the Foundation represents a major player in the generalization of preschool education, whether in the territory of the prefecture of M’diq-Fnideq or in the other prefectures and provinces of the Kingdom.

Ms. El Kandoussi specified that the Foundation, in addition to its contribution to the provision of all the necessary teaching and educational resources, ensures the management of 190 preschool classes in the prefecture of M’diq-Fnideq, i.e. 190 educators, who have followed basic training equivalent to 400 hours, noting that these educators are chosen on the basis of several criteria.

She noted that educators also benefit from additional training of up to 550 hours of training, divided between face-to-face and distance learning, via a platform made available to them, noting that the Foundation, in partnership with the INDH and the Regional Education and Training Academy (AREF), provides training for educators and provides the basic means and tools to enable children to benefit from quality preschool education in rural and urban areas.

These continued efforts aim, without a doubt, to ensure the generalization of preschool education in the most remote areas of the territory of the M’diq-Fnideq prefecture, so as to guarantee spatial justice and equal opportunities between children from cities, suburbs and villages, in line with the spirit and philosophy of the INDH.
