The National Chamber of Commerce, Services and Tourism of chetumal (CANACO chetumal) located in quintana Roo, is congratulated by the owner of the Confederation of National Chambers of Commerce, Services and Tourism (CONCANACO Servytur) Octavio de la Torre for his 95 years of existence.
“I am pleased too recognize the work over 95 years of the Chetumal Chamber of Commerce, and the leadership of its owner Amir Efrén Padilla Espadas, they are a bastion of Commerce in the entity. As the coordinated work between the Canacos in the state is an example of the unity and strength of the Confederation in each state”This is what de la Torre pointed out when recognizing the work of the institution with almost a century of experience.
On the other hand, during the commemoration of the 95th anniversary of the CANACO Chetumal, Mara Lezamagovernor of Quintana Roo, congratulated the institution and reiterated her commitment to “continue to return the shine to the capital with an honest and clear government that responds to the needs of the Chetumal population.”
“With the New Agreement, we will continue working hand in hand with supportive businessmen to continue strengthening the economy and tourism in the region.”
“The upcoming opening of the Mayan Train section that will connect Chetumal with Palenque and the infrastructure projects will enhance development with shared prosperity in our capital.”
“I recognize the efforts of local merchants, because we all need each and every one of us to build a prosperous Chetumal. “There is no way to do it alone, this is a team effort,” he emphasized.
In turn, the president of the CANACO of Chetumal, Amir Efrén Padilla Espadas, gave the governor a recognition for their efforts, highlighting the positive impact of the administration on the development of the tourism sector of Quintana Roo.

The CANACO Servytur Chetumal, founded on October 13, 1929is the oldest business organization in the entire state, which represents and promotes the interests of commerce and tourism in Chetumal, being the first representative institution of the business sector in the south of the State; It has been cataloged as the cradle of commerce in Quintana roo.
