Cardi B Welcomes Baby Boy with Stefon Diggs, Announces New Chapter
Cardi B has announced the arrival of her second son and fourth child, sharing the news Thursday evening on social media with a heartfelt message about new beginnings and motherhood. The rapper’s new son is the first child with NFL player Stefon Diggs,following her divorce from Offset,with whom she shares three other children.
A New Addition to the family
The announcement came as a surprise to many fans, with celebrities like Niecy Nash and Tamar Braxton expressing their congratulations online. Nash shared a celebratory GIF,deeming the news a “mic drop” moment. Cardi B,33,revealed she has two boys and two girls,but did not disclose the baby’s name or date of birth.
“Starting over is never easy but it’s been so worth it!” Cardi B wrote on Instagram, accompanying a video showcasing her post-pregnancy physique. “I brought new music and a new album to the world! A new baby into my world, and one more reason to be the best version of me, one more reason to love me more than anything else or anyone else so I can continue giving my babies the love and life they deserve.”
Diggs Confirms and Looks Ahead
The news follows a recent post showing Diggs, 31, affectionately touching Cardi B’s baby bump at a New England Patriots game in Foxborough, Massachusetts. Diggs playfully interacted with fans in the comments, writing “Goodluck charmmm huh?” and “Baby brim.” Earlier this month, diggs confirmed the impending arrival, telling outlets, “It’s a boy.that’s enough for me.” He added with a laugh, “I can’t wait to make him do push-ups and sit-ups and run around.”
Diggs is also a father to 8-year-old Nova, whose mother’s identity remains private, and 7-month-old Charliee with model Aileen Lopera.
Balancing Motherhood and Music
Cardi B is preparing for her “Little Miss Drama” tour,which kicks off February 11 in Palm Desert,California. She will perform in the Los Angeles area on February 15 and 16 at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, with the tour concluding three months later with two shows in Atlanta. The rapper, born Belcalis Almánzar, emphasized her dedication to both her career and family, stating she’s been “prepping for tour getting my body right getting my mind right.”
The artist concluded her announcement with a powerful statement of self-reliance: “This next chapter is Me vs. Me! It’s me against all odds, me against everything meant to get in my way.”
