Adele has been performing at the “Colosseum” in Las Vegas since November 2022. She received a special visit there at the weekend, for which she thanked them on Instagram.
With an emotional message, Adele thanked Céline Dion for attending one of her shows in Las Vegas. “Céline, I love you so much. Words can never express what you mean to me, or what it means for you to come to my show, let alone how it felt to see you back in your palace with your beautiful family see,” said the British singer’s message on Instagram.
According to reports, Celine Dion was a guest at the “Colosseum” of the “Caesars Palace” at the weekend, where Adele has been performing since November 2022. Adele wrote that the “Colosseum” was the only place in Las Vegas where she wanted to sing because it was built for the singer from Canada: “I have a picture of her right next to the stage that I touch every evening , before I go on stage, and she came to the show this weekend and it was a surprise and a moment!” The 36-year-old published a picture to accompany her words. In the photo you can see that both women are moved to tears.
The singer continued: “I love you so much. Words will never summarize what you mean to me.” It was “an honor” for Céline Dion to attend Adele’s concert. “Saturday night will be something I remember forever and ever.”
In November 2022, Adele began her “Weekends With Adele” show series in the casino city in the US state of Nevada. Initially, 32 concerts were planned until March 2023, but then the singer extended it with two more concert series. The last one is scheduled to run until mid-June this year, and catch-up shows are also planned for the fall.
Céline Dion has suffered from stiff person syndrome with muscle cramps for several years. At the Paris Olympics, she sang publicly during the opening ceremony for the first time since 2019. She moved the audience to tears with “L’Hymne à l’amour” by the French chanson icon Édith Piaf.
The 56-year-old spent many years on stage in Las Vegas. In October 2021, the Canadian world star had to cancel performances planned in Las Vegas from November to February due to health problems, which, however, were not supposed to take place in the “Colosseum”.
