Exercises of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) will be held in Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Tajikistan, with six events planned for September-October 2024.

As Day.Az reports with reference to Interfax, this was announced by the Chief of the CSTO Joint Staff Andrei Serdyukov.

“This year, among the main joint training activities, it is planned to conduct collective security in September-October in the Central Asian region: on the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic, a command post exercise with the collective rapid reaction forces of the CSTO “Interaction-2024″, a special exercise with reconnaissance forces and means” Search-2024,” a special exercise with forces and means of logistical support for the CSTO troops “Echelon-2024,” Serdyukov said at a briefing.

According to him, an operational meeting with the command of the collective forces for rapid deployment of the Central Asian region and a joint exercise “Rubezh-2024” are planned in Tajikistan.

“A command post exercise with the CSTO peacekeeping forces “Indestructible Brotherhood 2024” is planned on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan,” he added.

The presentation presented at Serdyukov’s briefing states that during the active phases of the exercises, representatives from other states that are not members of the CSTO, as well as international organizations, are expected to participate as observers.
