Colombo: In the fifth ODI (SL vs AUS 5th ODI), Australia bowled out Sri Lanka. Batting first, Sri Lanka were bowled out for 160 in 43.1 overs. But Chamika Karunaratne VIII and Pramod Madushan VIII put up an unexpected fight for the ninth wicket. Both extended the match from the 25th over to the 42nd over. Pramod, who scored 15 off 52 balls, was caught by Cameron Green in the first ball of the 42nd over. The Sri Lankan innings ended with Cummins returning Karunaratne (75 off 75 balls) in the space of one over. This is Karunaratne’s first ODI fifty.
