He Chelsea has signed this Tuesday the French striker Christopher Nkunkucoming from RB Leipzigby 52 million pounds (60 million euros).
The French forward is the first signing of Chelsea under the mandate of Mauricio Pochettinonew coach of the ‘Blues’ for the 2023-2024 season.
Nkunku, 25, comes from branding 16 goals in 25 games in the Bundesligawhere he has spent the last four seasons.

“I am incredibly happy to have arrived at Chelsea. It has been a great effort from the club to bring me here and I am looking forward to meeting my new manager, my teammates and showing the fans what I can do on the pitch,” said Nkunku.
“Having played in Ligue 1 and the Bundesliga, Now I want to play in the Premier League, one of the strongest leagues in the world. I am very excited for this challenge and I am very proud to wear the Chelsea shirt”, added the French striker.
Nkunku began his professional career at the Paris Saint Germainwhere he made 78 appearances for the first team and won three league titles and two French cups, before leaving for Leipzig in 2019.
