Tehran: At least 133 people have been injured in a fire at a chemical plant in Iran.
A fire broke out at a chemical factory in the western Iranian city of Prozabad yesterday with a terrifying noise. The factory workers screamed and ran out. Upon receiving the information, firefighters doused the fire with water.

In the fire, 133 people were injured. Of them, 114 have returned home after medical treatment. Doctors said the condition of some of the others was critical. Preliminary reports suggest that a chemical leak from the ammonium tank at the plant was the cause of the explosion. Police have registered a case and are investigating the incident.
