Both vehicles should go into production without any further changes, the manufacturer explained. Honda is already accepting pre-orders in the USA and is planning deliveries from summer 2026. The models will also be available in Europe shortly afterwards.
The French manufacturer Y-Brush has presented two new models of its electric toothbrush. The special feature of the devices is their Y-shaped design: The brushes use 35,000 nylon bristles to clean all the teeth on one half of the jaw at the same time. According to the company, the toothbrushes achieve the same cleaning performance in ten to 20 seconds as traditional electric toothbrushes in two minutes.
The new upper-class model Y-Brush Ultra offers six different brushing modes and is said to last up to six months on a single battery charge. The device comes with a charging station and travel bag and can also be used with conventional brush heads. The cheaper version, Y-Brush Essential, has two brushing modes and a battery life of three months. Both models are waterproof according to the IPX7 standard and, according to the manufacturer, can also be used with braces and crowns.
The Y-Brush Ultra will be available from February 2025 for 129.99 euros, the Y-Brush Essential will follow in March for 84.99 euros. The special Y-shaped brush heads cost 34.90 euros each and, according to the manufacturer’s recommendation, should be changed every four to six months. For owners of a Philips Sonicare toothbrush, Y-Brush also offers compatible brush heads.
