The Danish 2020 drama Busy – with a Norwegian title One Another glass – gets an American remake.
Another Round to be directed by Chris Rock, while Leonardo DiCaprio is producing via his production company Appian Way Productions.
The Danish script is being rewritten by Oscar nominee Stuart Bloomberg (The Kids Are All Right, The Girl Next Door) according to Deadline.

Busy alias Another glass won the Oscar for Best International Film in 2021.
It also won best foreign film at the Amanda prize; Norway’s answer to the Academy Awards.

The director Thomas Vinterberg, who surprisingly was also nominated in the director category, gave a moving Oscar acceptance speech where he remembered his 19-year-old daughter Ida Vinterberg.

They are inspired by the Norwegian psychiatrist Finn Skårderud, who writes in a book about the psychological effects of alcohol – rather cheerfully – that people are perhaps born with half a percent too little in their blood.
Chris Rock made his directorial debut with the political comedy Head of State i 2003.
He directed the partially biographical rom-com Top 5 in 2014, where he stars opposite Rosario Dawson, Adam Sandler, Kevin Hart and Gabrielle Union.
Leonardo DiCaprio started West Hollywood-based Appian Way Productions in 2001.
They have produced over 15 films; including the Martin Scorsese films The Aviator, The Wolf of Wall Street and Killers of the Flower Moon.
They are now current with the Apple TV+ series Shining Girls with Elisabeth Moss.
