BOGOR – A bus had an accident on the Selarong Rise, Puncak Route, Bogor Regency when Rain heavy, Sunday (27/8/2023). One passenger was injured in the accident.
The accident was allegedly caused by the bus driver who was not concentrating while driving. Head of the Bogor Police Traffic Unit, Ipda Angga Nugraha, said the accident occurred at around 17.15 WIB.
Initially, the bus driven by AJ went from Puncak to Jakarta. “The road conditions are decreasing and turning to the left. Upon arrival at the TKP (crime scene, ed) it is moving out of control,” said Angga in his statement, Sunday (27/8/2023).
The bus moved to the left so that it hit an electric pole and a street light. The glass shattered and the front bumper of the bus was damaged.
“So there was a traffic accident,” he explained.
In this accident, one of the passengers suffered a minor tear in the right hand and was taken to the Ciawi Regional Hospital. It is suspected that the cause of the accident was because the bus driver was not concentrating.
“One victim was slightly injured,” he concluded.
The bus has been evacuated by officers. Traffic flow at the scene has returned to normal both ways.
“It has been evacuated and the Puncak route is normal in 2 directions,” said KBO Satlantas Bogor Police Iptu Ardian Novianto confirmed, Sunday (27/8/2023).
