The Head of Government, Clara Brugada Molina, led the second day of “Citizen Government Zócalo”, a space where thousands of residents of Mexico City had the opportunity to present their requests, requests and proposals.
The capital’s president directly assisted 2,900 citizens, reaffirming her commitment to a close and accessible government.
“In the company of the secretaries of @GobCDMX, we held the second day of Zócalo of Citizen Government, where we personally attended to each of the requests and requests. “This Government is by and for the people!” Brugada expressed on social networks, underlining his administration’s commitment to the well-being of the capital’s residents.
Comprehensive cabinet participation
The event was attended by various secretaries of the Government of Mexico City, who were available to listen and respond to citizens’ concerns.
Among the participants were the Secretary of Government, César Cravioto Romero; the Secretary of the Environment (SEDEMA), Julia Álvarez Icaza Ramírez, and the Secretary of Administration and Finance (SAF), Juan Pablo de Botton Falcónwho discussed topics such as environmental sustainability, fiscal planning and mobility in the city.
In addition, the heads of different social service and welfare agencies participated in the event, including Araceli Damián González from the Secretariat of Welfare and Social Equality (SEBIEN) and Daptnhe Cuevas Ortiz from the Women’s Secretariat (SEMUJERES), who addressed issues of social justice, gender equality and support programs for vulnerable groups.
Active listening and direct response
The “Citizen Government Zócalo” strategy seeks to facilitate direct attention between citizens and authorities, eliminating bureaucratic barriers and allowing requests to be channeled quickly and efficiently.
During the day, the authorities received requests on infrastructure, health services, transportation and economic development, among other topics of interest.
The Secretary of Mobility, Héctor Ulises García Nieto, met with residents to hear their concerns about public transportation and safe mobility in the city, while the Secretary of Health (SEDESA), Nadine Flora Gasman Zylbermann, responded to requests related to the access to medical services and the quality of care in public hospitals.
The event was also attended by the coordinator of the Command, Control, Computing, Communications and Citizen Contact Center (C5), Salvador Guerrero Chiprés, who reinforced the commitment of public security authorities to guarantee a safer and more efficient city in the emergency management and security services.
Likewise, Clara Brugada emphasized the importance of closeness to the community and the responsibility of her government to respond in a timely and direct manner to citizen demands. “This is a government that listens and acts. We ensure that residents’ requests are taken into account and responded to with concrete solutions,” Brugada commented.
