Climate Action Week ends in Baku

A climate science conference on “Accelerating Research and Collaboration for Climate Action” has concluded in Baku.

As Day.Az reports with reference to Trend, the agenda of the final conference included panel discussions on the following topics: “A revolution in our understanding of greenhouse gas emissions: the role of empirical data, AI and advanced analytics”, “The role of global and regional cooperation in overcoming scientific challenges “, “The impact of climate change and paradigm shifts on transboundary water management.”

The Climate Action Week, which was held in Baku for the first time, brought together key participants from various fields: politics, finance, trade, investment, science, art, culture, civil society and media.

The first half of the week (September 30 – October 2) was devoted to discussing climate solutions with the participation of government agencies, the academic community and the private sector. The second half (October 3-4) focused on science, education, arts, culture and other sectors.
