The sequel to the comedy “Club Las Piranjas” starring Hape Kerkeling has finished. Series start at RTL + is still this winter.
The last flap has fallen: The final scenes of the mini-series “Club Las Piranjas” with Hape Kerkeling (57) were shot near Cologne after months of shooting in Mauritius had previously ended.
The four-part mini-series from RTL+ is the sequel to the comedy of the same name from 1995. Kerkeling also played the entertainer Edwin Öttel back then, who is caught up by his past. This time he’s supposed to prevent the wedding of his ex-boss’s (and ex-lover’s) son, for which he’s promised half of the club’s resort. However, newly discovered fatherly feelings throw a spanner in the works…

Fans of the film may also know Angelika Milster (70), who then as now plays Edwin’s colleague Biggi Jakobs, and Judy Winter (78), who is returning to the role of hotel manager Dr. Renate Wenger hatches.
New roles are held by Ben Münchow (31), Cordula Stratmann (58), Benno Fürmann (50), Rick Kavanian (51) and Andrea Sawatzki (59). The broadcast is planned for this winter, first via RTL+, later also on RTL.
