Football is often characterized by emotions. This was also shown in a scene in the second Spanish league when two coaches clashed violently.

In the Spanish second division, tempers heated up on Saturday after an intense final phase of the game between Real Zaragoza and Racing Ferrol. Racing defender Rober Correa received a red card in stoppage time and his team lost 1-0. Afterwards, a tumult developed on the square – and an incredible scene.

Because Cristóbal Parralo, the trainer of Racing Ferrol, gave his rival coach David Navarro a headbutt. This was preceded by a heated verbal exchange between the two.

At the press conference following the game, Parralo said: “I had a feeling that I haven’t felt for many years. I prefer not to talk about what happened. It’s not a good example for football. What happened was terrible. I don’t want to talk about it.”

He also added: “I’m not proud of it. But we’re human, we have blood in our veins and sometimes there are things that can’t be justified. And you can say all the nonsense you want, but you just have to Look at my record. I think I only got one yellow card all season.”
