Even before the official opening of Comic-Con, journalists briefly met with representatives of the main characters of the cult British sitcom Red Dwarf by Chris Barrie and Craig Charles. When asked what unites Great Britain, Japan and the Czech Republic, i.e. the country where the series is very popular, Charles answered that “They’re probably full of weird people“. There was also a lesson in Arnold Rimmer’s long salute from his representative or a friendly nudge from the actors. “I wonder how I sound in Czech,” Barrie said, to which Charles replied that he did “still like a fool“. The actors then pleased the fans of the series with the announcement that they are preparing a 90-minute special about the series.
