Comprehensive development of the health sector; Abu Dhabi Health Department and Pfizer will work together

Abu Dhabi | Abu Dhabi Health Department and Pfizer, a pharmaceutical company, have decided to work together. The MoU was signed with a view to comprehensive development of the health sector. Abu Dhabi Undersecretary of Health Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Hameed, Chairman of the Department of Health, was present at the ceremony. The MoU was signed by Jamal Mohammed Al Kabi and Pfizer Gulf Cluster Lead Lincy Dietzi. This will improve research and healthcare practices in the pharmaceutical sector and expand clinical trials in Abu Dhabi.

Pfizer will prepare a special training curriculum for the Abu Dhabi Department of Health that will cover the early stages of drug production and clinical trials. As part of the project, 150 people will be trained in the first phase of drug research. The goal is to mold 500 researchers by 2025 through various partnership projects.
