(Ahmed Mansoor) The mega event of Exercise Indus Shield 2024 was organized in which various Air Chiefs of allied countries, senior military officials participated, the high multi-domain combat capabilities of Pakistan Air Force were highlighted in the exercise.
According to Pakistan Army Public Relations (ISPR), the exercise reinforced the importance of Air Force cooperation across the world, for Exercise Indus Shield 2024, the Sri Lankan Air Force Commander at the Air Headquarters of the Pakistan Air Force. Chief Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed met Babar Sidhu.
According to ISPR, issues related to regional security and operational issues were discussed in the meeting. On arrival at the Air Headquarters, the elite force of the Pakistan Air Force presented a guard of honor to Air Marshal Raja Paksa Upohimlaj, during the meeting. The Air Chief informed about the operational preparations of the Pakistan Air Force, the goals of the force and the various ongoing projects for the future.
The Air Chief said on the occasion that the two countries have unprecedented friendly relations, and reiterated the Air Chief’s commitment to further enhance the existing bilateral relations in the fields of military cooperation, maintenance support and training.
According to the spokesman, the distinguished guest praised the professionalism of the PAF personnel, the Sri Lankan Air Force chief expressed his desire to further improve the existing military relations between the two countries.
