After the ruling in the case, Irish RTE reported that the injured woman had to move earlier this year because several men with hoods broke into her apartment.
The men knife-stabbed her partner and broke the windows in her apartment.
Since there was no evidence that McGregor was involved in that incident, the judge found that event irrelevant to the civil case regarding the rape.

The injured woman accused McGregor of raping her at a hotel in Dublin one night in December 2018.
She claims McGregor pushed her down on a bed, choked her, and brutally raped and assaulted her.
The jury was also informed that she sustained extensive injuries, such as bruises on her hands and wrists, a bloody tear on her chest, and swelling in her neck.
McGregor has stated that the complainant consented to have sex with him but was not believed.
