Mumbai: A foreign player from the Delhi Capitals team has been diagnosed with corona infection.

The current IPL season is in full swing. The IPL series is being held with a limited number of spectators as corona infections are coming down. Matches are being played at Pune, Mumbai and Navi Mumbai stadiums in the state of Maharashtra. The rule is that players can only join the team after 3 days of isolation if they leave the Bio Bubble for security reasons.

A foreign player from the Delhi Capitals has been diagnosed with corona infection. Raphael’s antigen test has revealed that he has an infection. It is thus advised that all players on the team should be in their room. And steps are being taken to test the RT-PCR corona according to all the rules. Due to this, the next match will be delayed in Pune, the team management said.

The IPL series has been held with many strict restrictions due to corona infection for the last two years. It has come as a shock that one person has been confirmed to have corona infection as the IPL is currently being conducted with very limited restrictions on spectators being allowed.
