Courteney Cox and Johnny McDaid Spotted Looking Loved-Up in New York City
Courteney Cox and her longtime partner, Johnny McDaid, were seen enjoying a romantic outing in New York City over the weekend. The couple was spotted holding hands as they picked up coffee together and indulged in some retail therapy at the clothing store, James Perse.
For their casual day out, Cox, known for her role in Friends, sported a laid-back ensemble consisting of a white t-shirt, matching jeans, and a light-wash jean jacket tied around her waist. Completing her look were a black crossbody purse and white sneakers. McDaid, on the other hand, wore a black tee, charcoal grey slacks, and a stylish bomber jacket.
As the couple ran their errands, they remained close, staying by each other’s side. Cox and McDaid’s relationship has stood the test of time, as they have been dating since 2013 and announced their engagement in 2014. Although they broke off their engagement in 2019, they continue to remain together.
Prior to her relationship with McDaid, Cox was married to her Scream co-star David Arquette from 1999 to 2010, with whom she shares a daughter named Coco. Jennifer Aniston, another friend and co-star of Cox, serves as Coco’s godmother.
In a rare glimpse into their relationship, Cox revealed earlier this year how they navigate their long-distance relationship. During an appearance on the Drew Barrymore talk show, Cox shared that McDaid flew all the way from London to Hollywood to watch her receive her star on the Walk of Fame. The actress gushed about the sweet gesture, emphasizing the importance of trust in maintaining their connection.
When asked about the possibility of tying the knot again, Cox hinted that marriage is not off the table. While she stated that she doesn’t actively think about it, she expressed her openness to the idea. “I’m definitely not opposed to it. I just don’t think about it,” she told People magazine in January.
