The results of this work have been compiled in his new book Covid-19: what the official figures reveal, published by Editions l’Artilleur, which he comes to present to us as part of this “Essential Interview“. According to Pierre Chaillot, the start of 2023 is an opportune time to look back on the events that marked the health crisis because “all those who spoke during the crisis period were unheard simply because people were afraid of the situation: this fear is ending, which allows people to reflect.“Looking at the past to avoid repeating the same mistakes, an essential duty, insists the statistician, since our political representatives are already working on the responses to be adopted in anticipation of the next pandemics, “in particular by granting all powers to the WHO within Europe“.
