The incident took place at a plant owned by Foxconn. The video, which is circulating on Chinese social media, was tweeted by Stephen McDonnell, the BBC’s China correspondent. The employees who escape from here return to their homes across hundreds of kilometers.
Due to the lockdown, the vehicle facility is not available. Due to the previous experience during the covid era, the employees are jumping the fence and escaping due to concerns including food availability.
