After a gas explosion in a residential building at 18 Gaidar Street in Nizhny Novgorod, investigators opened a criminal case on the provision of services that did not meet safety requirements (part 1 of article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). This was reported in the regional department of the Investigative Committee of Russia (TFR).
The incident happened on the morning of October 2. The explosion took place in an apartment on the last, ninth floor. There were two injured, they were hospitalized with burns in the Burn Center of the Volga Medical University.
At the scene of the incident, employees of the TFR work, they interview witnesses and conduct an examination. The cause of the incident is being established.
