The incident began on August 3, when surveillance video captured the Cuban arriving at the victim’s apartment in northwest Miami-Dade. There, he showed a weapon and threatened the man to accompany him to his vehicle.

Once inside, he activated the rear child safety lock, beginning a series of attacks in different places, including in front of a secondary school.

During the attack, Ramos Morales forced the victim to strip down to his underwear and hit him repeatedly.

He later took him to his workshop, where the beating continued, even breaking a glass bottle on his forehead, which required medical attention.

It was reported that Ramos Morales, accompanied by another unidentified man, also took the victim to a location in Broward County to pick up another person.

On the way back, he hit him again and forced him into the trunk of the vehicle. When they arrived at the victim’s residence, they looked for cash and, when they couldn’t find it, they stole $6,000 that was hidden under the bed.
