At least 22 migrants of different nationalities, including four cubanswere rescued by the authorities in Mexico then a confrontation with a criminal group on the Tapachula-Viva México highway.
Local media indicated that at least 16 of the migrants were Venezuelans, four were Cubans and two were Colombians, while there were two minors in the group.
Until the time of writing this note, the identity of these peopel who were under the captivity of a criminal gang in aztec lands is unknown.
According to reports, the authorities in Mexico confronted the criminal gang, causing two police officers to lose their lives, one of the alleged criminals to be arrested, while at least 14 members of the criminal group escaped.

El Diario del Sur stated in its report that it was on Thursday afternoon when the authorities received the report of the presence of an armed group at the ranch. Subsequently, police officers arrived at the scene and were attacked by approximately 15 armed men.
In the operation,the Mexican police confiscated more than 15 long weapons that are supposedly for the exclusive use of the Army.
It is worth mentioning that the confrontation occurred days after the kidnapping of four Cuban migrants was reported in the center of Tapachula, state of Chiapas.
