Health: Five Primary care units serving the Penha and Complexo do Alemão regions have temporarily suspended operations, with officials evaluating the possibility of reopening in the coming hours. While a family clinic remains open, external services, such as home visits, have been suspended for the duration of the operation.
Education: A total of 46 schools have been closed as a precautionary measure. The Municipal Department of education reported that 28 schools within Complexo do Alemão and 17 schools within Complexo da Penha have been impacted. Additionally, one state school has been closed in the region.
