Cyberpunk 2077 recently surprised fans with a fresh update, version 2.2, packed with new features, fixes, and enhancements, even though the game’s official development wrapped up seven months ago.
While not as extensive as the December 2.1 update, version 2.2 introduces a tempting array of tweaks and additions. Players can now indulge in expanded customization choices for their in-game character, V, adding a wider range of eye colors, nail polish options, face tattoos, eyebrow shapes, and cosmetic cyberwear. The Character Creator also gains a "Plain-too-Punk" slider, allowing for sleek, understated looks or bold, edgy styles.
Photo Mode receives a significant overhaul, empowering players with finer control over their shots. You can now summon up to three NPCs to pose alongside V,manipulate light sources, adjust camera range, and experiment with a new "Effect Intensity" slider. The update also lets you display your favorite photos within V’s apartments, adding a personal touch to their living space.
Beyond customization and photography, version 2.2 introduces several other quality-of-life improvements and fixes. Players can now change paint jobs on additional vehicles, thanks to Rayfield’s CrystalCoat™ technology expanding to other manufacturers. The update adds the "TWINTONE™" feature, allowing vehicles to sport unique color schemes.
