According to the announcement, the trains will run according to the Friday schedule on October 31, Saturday on November 1, and the public holiday schedule on November 2.
Depending on the advance purchase of tickets, Budapest-Debrecen-Nyíregyháza, Budapest-Miskolc, Budapest-Debrecen-Nyíregyháza-Miskolc, Budapest-Nagykanizsa, Budapest-Keszthely, Budapest-Békéscsaba, Budapest-Cegléd-Szeged, Budapest -On the Veszprém-Szombathely, Budapest-Zalaegerszeg, and Budapest-Pécs lines, the railway company starts the trains with several cars.
If possible, additional cars will be put into service in addition to the planned ones, if the passenger traffic requires it and the amount of available vehicles makes it possible, they added.
It was also announced that the intercity bus services will run according to the timetable valid on October 31, the last school holiday of the week, November 1 on a non-working day, and November 2 on a public holiday.
Department stores and shopping centers are closed on November 1st, so the flights that affect them also depart according to their holiday schedule.
In some settlements, local flights may depart from the general traffic schedule, they wrote.
They also indicated that until October 31st, during the school break, the HÉV schedule valid on working days is valid. Until October 30, there will be a replacement bus between Cinkota and Csömör instead of HÉV H9, and HÉV H8 will run according to a modified schedule.
On November 1, HÉV flights will run according to the schedule valid on public holidays, the announcement states.
