Deacon Phillippe, son of Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe, will have his first major role in the third season of Netflix hit series Never in My Life.
The acting genes should actually be particularly pronounced in him. Deacon Phillippe is the son of Oscar winner Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe. At 18, Deacon will soon be showing those genes for the first time. From August 12th he will play the role of the boy Parker in the third season of the Netflix series “Never in my life”.

The series follows American Devi, the daughter of Indian immigrants, and the usual trials and tribulations of teenage life. For the past two seasons, Devi has stood between two guys she had feelings for: Paxton and Ben. The streaming giant Netflix has not yet announced whether Parker, played by Phillippe, will join the two and turn Devi’s head.
It’s only been a few weeks since Deacon Phillippe celebrated his high school graduation. Witherspoon and her ex-husband posed for a photo together for the special occasion. “Congratulations on graduating from high school! So proud of the thoughtful, talented, kind and generous young man you have become. You light up our hearts and make us proud every day. We love you!” wrote the Hollywood icon on Instagram for a snapshot.

And Ryan Phillippe, who starred opposite Witherspoon in 1999’s Cruel Intentions, posted a video of the special day. Because Deacon Phillippe was homeschooled and didn’t attend a traditional school, the graduation ceremony took place in the home garden. “I played the headmaster,” the 47-year-old joked on his Instagram profile.
After Witherspoon and Phillippe’s success with Cruel Intentions, the two married in 1999 and had two children together, Deacon and Ava. The marriage was divorced in 2008, but since then they have always presented themselves as a unit. They also recently celebrated Deacon’s 18th birthday together.
