Dead rat in supermarket vegetable – Singapore food organization investigating

by time news

The Food Corporation of Singapore says it is investigating the discovery of a dead rat in a vegetable bought from the Giant supermarket.

8World published information about it.

Raymond Lim posted on Facebook that he bought vegetables from the Giant supermarket in the IMM store on the 15th of this month.

He said he kept the vegetables in the package in the refrigerator for three days.

He later said he saw the rat lying inside when he unpacked the package.

Giant sent information to the supermarket about it. Lim said.

The supermarket apologized to him and stated that it had sent the information to the branch manager and distributor.

Giant said all measures have been taken to ensure that the items in the supermarket are safe, and that the inspection was carried out at the location of the vegetables involved.

It said the vegetables were in excellent condition and none of the customers had complained.

In this case, the quality of the goods will be monitored more closely, Giant said.
