Two games on two continents within 20 hours – how is that supposed to work?
PSG superstars Lionel Messi (34) and Neymar (29) are in a crazy stressful schedule. Because they are still on the road with their national teams in South America, but would have to be on the pitch in Paris on Friday.
The crazy game plan looks like this:
Messi plays with Argentina in Buenos Aires against Peru on Thursday night. The kick-off is at 1:30 a.m. German time. Neymar’s game with Brazil in Manaus against Uruguay starts an hour later (2:30 a.m.).
The PSG league game against Angers is scheduled for Friday evening at 9 p.m. This would mean that there would be less than 20 hours between the kick-off of the national team game and the PSG game. But for Messi around 8,000 and for Neymar even around 11,000 flight kilometers. In addition, five (Buenos Aires) or six hours (Manaus) time difference to Paris. Not possible even for the best players in the world!
