Baghdad/Al-Masala Al-Hadath: The Security Media Cell announced, on Monday, that the General Directorate of Intelligence and Security in the Ministry of Defense was able to overthrow a terrorist and drug dealer in Baghdad.
The cell stated in a statement, “According to accurate intelligence information and continuous follow-up, the detachments of the Baghdad Intelligence and Security Directorate, affiliated with the General Directorate of Intelligence and Security in the Ministry of Defense, were able to arrest two wanted persons, one of them for terrorism and the other for trafficking and promoting narcotic substances in Baghdad.”
She added, “The wanted persons had two arrest warrants issued against them in accordance with the provisions of Articles (1/4 terrorism, 28 drugs), and legal measures were taken against them and they were referred to the legally concerned authorities.”
