The high-speed trains that run between Barcelona-Girona and the Figueres Vilafant station, near the French border, may suffer this Monday delays between 30 and 45 minutesthe Renfe company has reported.

ADIF technicians have been working since yesterday to repair the affected systems so that the situation returns to normal. While the affectations last, Renfe will be informing of the alterations of schedules and incidents through the communication channels and customer service.
Occasionally, travelers of some service, such as the Before Barcelona-Figueres at 7.05have been routed to the regional trains of line R11.
ADIF sources pointed out that the “sabotage” acts were recorded at dawn on Sunday in a space of twenty minutes in three different points of the AVE line, and consisted of burning the gutters of the wiring network of the train signaling system, which was left with “significant damage”.
