New Delhi: People are sighing with relief after the new cases of corona virus in India have come down, but the new variant of Govit-19 has left its mark on the country.
Delta and Delicron varieties The new variant of the corona virus, Deltacron, has reached India and cases have been reported in several states except Karnataka, Maharashtra and Delhi.
According to Moneycontrol, quoting Telangana Today, India’s Govt Genomics Federation (INSACOG) and GSAID say 568 cases are pending in the country.

According to the report, 221 cases in Karnataka are showing signs of deltoid variants, which has become a hotspot.

After Karnataka, there are 90 suspected deltagrans in Tamil Nadu, 66 in Maharashtra, 33 in Gujarat, 32 in West Bengal, 25 in Telangana and 20 in New Delhi.
Deltacron is a hybrid variant of delta and omigron. According to experts, it is a super-mutant virus with the scientific name BA.1 + B.1.617.2.
